NUMB conducts multiple, organized group rides on a weekly basis during the active, riding season. As we near the riding season, we will have a calendar listing of each weeks ride locations, days, and times. Additionally, you may contact Altitude Cycle for information on the week's group rides. The riding season starts when our record snow pack is gone.

Urban Assault Sunday - Sunday Evenings - Cement, stairs, rails, drops, & who knows what else.
Mellow Monday - Monday Evenings - Non-intimidating, low pressure ride; Ladies are especially encouraged to attend.
XC Hump Day - Wednesday Evenings - A bit longer. A bit more hardcore. Single-track for everyone.
Downhill Thursday - Thursday Evenings - Not just DH- Toss in some Freeriding & Dirt-Jumping for good times.
Road Group Ride - Day and Time to be determined - Long stretches of tarmac and the open road.

All group rides will meet at the trailhead. If you do not know the location of the trailhead, please meet at Altitude Cycle located in Downtown Vernal between 4:30 and 5:00PM for directions or to follow someone.

If you have suggestions for a ride, please post them on the forum under "NUMB Rides". Additionally, please watch the forum for the rides we will be doing, meeting places, and meeting times.

Dinoland Triathlon - June 28, 2008

The Dinoland Triathlon is in it's second year, and is one of the most scenic and challenging triathlons in the entire United States.

The event is point to point with two seperate transition areas- swim to bike & bike to run.

The race offers both sprint and olympic distance courses with the swim taking place in the red cliff surrounded Red Fleet Reservoir north of Vernal, Utah. From the swim, the bike winds south to Vernal through the foothills of the Uintah Mountains and past Steinaker Reservoir. The sprint distance ends at Uintah High School. The olympic distance loops north towards Taylor Mountain and continues back to Uintah High School. The run heads northwest from Uintah High School through Ashley Valley farmland with one loop for the sprint course and two loops for the olympic course both finishing at Uintah High School.

For more information regarding the event and registration, please contact the Dinoland Triathlon.
